9:34 pm Vegetarian & Vegan
BTW: Here is a link to a celebrity making a total fool of herself- http://www.ecorazzi.com/2008/06/14/jessica-simpson-says-real-girls-eat-meat/
Way to go, Jessica. Apparantly she was trying to take a dig at Carrie Underwood, who is a vegetarian. Doesn’t she know that “real girls are compassionate”?!
Rose tattoo: i have a hard time seeing problems with “competitions” like these…..everyone has a different view of what’s sexy, and obviously the people that won are not **** to me but must be to others. it’s just a matter of opinion like everything else. anyone who fails to see attractiveness in others has something wrong with them. sure, people’s opinions of attractiveness will vary, but they will still notice whether a person’s looks appeal to them or not. i think the whole point is just exposure to the cause….it’s a way to get people interested in vegetarianism using celebrities whose lives many people follow anyway.
as far as PETA as a whole goes, that discussion could go on forever…..
no offense meant by the way, i guess i just look at it as just a fun little way to expose veg*nism…..i just don’t take it very seriously.
I agree with you, the guy who won isn’t even that cute. Btw, I like Jessica, but not so much anymore after I saw that. And it’s really cool that a lot of celebs are vegetarians now, I would have never known. Being a vegetarian is the new fad now. Finally!

Alicia Silverstone and Prince!
Although the list kind of loses its credibility when Don Imus is in the running.

They should’ve all won. All vegetarians are ****.
Really though, I didn’t follow the whole sexiest veggie thing.
Yeah, Jessica is a dipshit. She doesn’t even know which meat is from what animal, apparently. Remember the whole chicken of the sea thing? blah

I kind of object to the sexiest vegetarian contest in a way - but I object to most beauty contests - who’s to judge what is **** & what isn’t? Maybe it’s tongue in cheek, I don’t know, but it kind of leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. Surely there are other ways to highlight the celebrity vegetarians?
As for Jessica Simpson - she’s so brainless does it matter? She has probably done vegetarianism a huge favour!

I see such as sexist - putting the value of a person on just looks is shallow. There is much more to a person that what is seen within the mirror.
But considering some of their other promotions - doesn’t shock me that they take such an approach……
